Project: Still Life Album Art and Pre-Order Design
It was a blast working with these guys as usual. They came to me with the concept of an hourglass, and wanted to continue the traditional style illustration I had created for their previous release titled Homewrecker. The album is a collection of bone chilling songs, all based around loss of some kind, so adding an eye gave that melancholy feeling and adding several traditional organic floral pieces complimented the rigid and clean hourglass style well. I also followed the contrasting concept into the album art itself. While the cover is white, as soon as you open the album, you see the cold, desaturated black staring back at you along with the blood red floral designs and several traditional tattoo style accents.
Sleep Waker - Don't Look At The Moon
