Lifeline was a really fun project that was brought to us and our close friend and videographer Jason Caudill. We were asked to create a full campaign based the single and a music video location. We shot and filmed the project on the same day we took the promos and images you see on the artwork.

After finishing the shoot, we decided to create a burned found-image aesthetic to emulate the style of film which can be seen in most of the promos and bts images.

Project: Still Life Album Art and Pre-Order Design

It was a blast working with these guys as usual. They came to me with the concept of an hourglass, and wanted to continue the traditional style illustration I had created for their previous release titled Homewrecker. The album is a collection of bone chilling songs, all based around loss of some kind, so adding an eye gave that melancholy feeling and adding several traditional organic floral pieces complimented the rigid and clean hourglass style well. I also followed the contrasting concept into the album art itself. While the cover is white, as soon as you open the album, you see the cold, desaturated black staring back at you along with the blood red floral designs and several traditional tattoo style accents.

The shirt design was a concept based around lyrics from their song “Dissect Me” off the new album which gives off the emotion of being stripped away and torn down. This was obviously taken literally in this design, by choosing the image of a rat’s anatomy along with a hand-drawn scalpel on the front breast.

During this project I was given free reign to create a whole new brand and image for Sleep Waker. This included art, merch, and photography. I decided to bridge the gap between their past brand and current by creating art for the singles that slowly introduced more concepts and imagery that would later become the album, Don't Look at the Moon.

Assume Nothing - Once Lost was an absolute blast to work on. The band wanted something that sets them apart from most metalcore bands of their age. Their roots dug deeply into BFMV and other classic metal acts, as well as influence from Wage War and Parkway Drive, there was a certain level of classic dark sound blossoming from this band, hence the focus on floral imagery with a dark color palette.
